Chicken Soup for the Soul WholeHeart Pet E-Gift Card Terms and Conditions

1. General

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase, issuance, and use of Chicken Soup for the Soul WholeHeart Pet E-Gift Cards (“Gift Cards”), issued by CSS PetVet LLC  (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, accepting, or using a Gift Card, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and the Company and apply to both purchasers and recipients of Gift Cards.

2. Use of Gift Cards

Gift Cards may be redeemed solely for eligible products and services made available for purchase through our official website at www.WholeHeartPet.com.

Gift Cards are treated as a payment method and may be applied toward any qualifying transaction up to the remaining balance. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash or credit, except as required by applicable law.

No activation, service, or inactivity fees apply. Gift Cards have no expiration date.

3. Balance and Redemption

To obtain your current Gift Card balance, please contact wholeheartpetsupport@chickensoupforthesoul.com.

Upon redemption, the purchase amount will be deducted from the available balance on the Gift Card. Any unused balance will remain on the Gift Card and may be applied toward future purchases. If a purchase exceeds the available balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another accepted payment method.

4. Limitations

Gift Cards may not be:

·       Reloaded or replenished;

·       Resold, transferred for value, or exchanged for cash or credit (except as required by law);

·       Used to purchase other Gift Cards; or

·       Combined with promotional offers, coupons, or discounts unless expressly permitted by the Company.

The Company is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of Gift Cards. Ownership and risk of loss pass to the purchaser or designated recipient upon electronic transmission or confirmation of delivery. Please safeguard your Gift Card accordingly.

5. Returns and Refunds

Products or services purchased using a Gift Card that are subsequently returned will be refunded to a new Gift Card or store credit, at the Company’s sole discretion.

All sales of Gift Cards are final and non-refundable. Gift Cards cannot be replaced or refunded for cash, except as otherwise required by applicable law.

6. Expiration, Fees, and Adjustments

Gift Cards do not expire and are not subject to any dormancy, service, or inactivity fees.

The Company reserves the right to:

·       Correct the balance of any Gift Card in the event of clerical, accounting, or system errors; and

·       Suspend or cancel a Gift Card if evidence of fraud, misuse, or violation of these Terms is identified.

7. Fraud Prevention and Misuse

The Company reserves the right, without notice, to delay, decline, or cancel any Gift Card order or redemption if it reasonably believes that the transaction involves fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activity, or if technical issues compromise the integrity of the Gift Card program.

We further reserve the right to investigate and pursue all available legal remedies in the event of actual or suspected misuse.

8. Risk of Loss

Title to and risk of loss for a Gift Card pass to the purchaser or intended recipient upon our confirmation of electronic delivery. The Company is not responsible for misdirected, deleted, or otherwise undeliverable email communications, including those resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the purchaser.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.

10. Changes to These Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time, in its sole discretion. The most current version will always be posted at www.WholeHeartPet.com.

Any changes become effective immediately upon posting and continued use or possession of a Gift Card after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
